Since 1979, Close-up Expeditions has operated trips in over 40 countries and 25 states, offering a year-round schedule of adventures, lasting from 7-21 days. We've spent over 20 years doing what we love -- helping serious amateur Nature and Travel photographers create stunning images and develop an understanding of the world around them.
 
Unlike many tour companies who travel with groups of 20 people or more, our small groups provide the photographic adventure. Usually just 6-7 photographers in go-anywhere, stop-anytime vans. CUE guides are professional photographers focused on your photography. Whatever your skill level -- you'll do your best work on a Close-Up Expedition.
